Gong’s platform captures all customer interactions – calls and web conference meetings.

Simply add assistant@gong.io to any of your meeting invites on BlueJeans, Zoom or any other web conferencing tool

2. Understands What's Being Said

Once invited to a meeting, the Gong recorded will join those calls as a silent participant and start recording.

A transcript of all recorded calls will be available on Gong so you can search for key moments from customer conversations

(So don’t forget to remind them add assistant@gong.io to your meeting invites)

3. Delivers Insights That Help You Consult With Your Segment

 

You can find actionable data from these calls on Gong’s platform through:

  • targeted search results
  • call scorecards and
  • rep behavior statistics against industry benchmarks

II. Here's Everything You Need To Do:

1. Ensure Reps Record Their Calls

Note – assistant@gong.io needs to be added at least 30 min before the start of the meeting (see screenshot below)

If you are using a Zoom password, append the password at the end of the Zoom URL 

This is so Gong knows what virtual meeting to join

This way, you don’t have to remember to add it each time!

2. Help Drive Adoption

There are several fun ways to drive adoption of Gong. Here is what we suggest

  • Send them an email with login instructions. Here is a template
  • Send them reminders to add assistant@gong.io to their meetings
  • Share call snippets from great calls to incentivize getting their calls recorded
  • Run contests or SPIFs for the best calls submitted to the readiness team

 

For Users who have a PC, you can use this step-by-step guide to create a shortcut in your Outlook Desktop App which will automatically add Gong to your new meetings. 

How do managers find the recording status for their team?

  • Share great call snippets with managers to drive call recording adoption
  • Managers can also see their team’s calls from their Gong Home screen 
  • The higher your Gong activation, the more data you can leverage when making strategic decisions and tracking your initiatives
